Welcome to our New Staff Members

This term we have welcomed the following staff to the Faculty:

Mr. FUNG Elliot Justin Yi-Tuk, Professional Consultant

Elliot Fung joined the Faculty in December 2015.  He is currently the course leader for Principles of Employment Law and Business and the Law as well as teaching on various courses on the PCLL. He obtained a bachelor of science degree from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University and then returned to Hong Kong to pursue law in the first cohort of the newly launched Juris Doctor programme by our Professor Stephen Hall (at the City University of Hong Kong at that time).  He then obtained a BCL from Oxford University. Elliot was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 2009 where he developed a civil litigation practice primarily in land and commercial disputes, including a number of reported cases. These included Yang Dandan v Hong Kong Resort Co Ltd where he represented a land developer sued for misrepresentation by a buyer of a penthouse flat in Discovery Bay who complained that her view was obstructed by another building, a case which was widely reported in the newspapers last year.

Ms. PANG Chau Ping, Fiona, External Relations and Marketing Manager

Fiona Pang also joined the Faculty in December 2015 and is responsible for external relations and marketing work.  She has a BBA and MSc in Marketing from CUHK.  She says “this is a familiar place to me, although there are a lot of changes and many new buildings everywhere.  With my previous years in marketing, I have got the chances to manage different aspects of marketing work including project and event management, public relations, product and brand marketing, online marketing, etc.  It’s my pleasure to join the team and I look forward to meeting and working with my new colleagues at the Faculty of Law!
